I just bought in a large display of British army badges, mounted
just after the First World War. Most of the badges have slides and, besides
some Brasso dust build-up, are in very good condition. Unfortunately, the
person who mounted the badges with lugs, first closed the lugs, split them, and
then opened the ends to hold the badges in place. If anyone wants to see a
